The Booze News

This evening, I went to Heartland Brewery, a local brewpub chain. It had been a while since I'd been able to indulge my taste for microbrews. My friend and I split a sampler that had small glasses of their five regular beers and three of their seasonal brews. The best was the oatmeal stout, because for the first few sips, it tasted like sweetened espresso, but the slightly bitter beer taste came through after. Unfortunately, it was a rather heavy beer, so I had a hard time finishing my pint later on, since I was feeling full.

Now, the sampler was perfect for me, because I always have a difficult time choosing alcohol when I'm at a bar. Thus, in the future, I plan to consult this site before going out.

And on an unrelated note: de-clawed cat chases bear up tree.
